Final Numbers

I am very happy with my final numbers. I think that my weight on day 1 was off. When I started at home I weighed in at 138, but that doesn't matter to me at all. I headed in the right direction. My body fat is going down and it will continue to go that way if I keep doing it right.

The after numbers...ignore the numbers on the line and focus on the number circled. 1st trainer was a little sleepy and measured a little off. I ended up having another trainer double check them....those are the circled numbers.

I was pleased with how much better I did on the fitness test. I wish I had remembered the way I did the jump squats on day 1, but oh well...I did not do modified on the final day and my number was still greater.

I was really bummed with the fact that I have these stupid shin splints. I was really looking forward to seeing changes in the 10 minute run and even though I still did better I know I could have done even better if my body was at 100%.

There is a 2 week break in between this session and the next one. I am nervous. I know I can do it, but it's summer and I can see lazy me creeping up and while I know I can....I still have the old me in the back of my mind. My goal during this break is to lose at least 2-5lbs. so I don't start next boot camp at the same weight I am at now.

We'll see. New pics will be posted tomorrow!

Hell Week--CHECK!

Wow, I ended up doing 4 days of hell week instead of just 2. I had to make up 2 classes and I guess picking hell week to make them up was pure genius on my part!

Last week is partially a blur to me. It was tough, but I did it. I know there are so many things I can do now that there was no way I could accomplish 6 weeks ago.

Tonight was our last chance work out, but it sure felt like a "Hell Week" workout. Right, because doing 25 burpees, 50 pushups, 100 flutter kicks, 50 sit ups, 15 superman pushups, 25 jump squats, 6 laps (5 is 1 mile), then coming home and finishing my 25 jump squats and 50 crab walks, is totally not hell. It sounds like running in a field of daisy's in a white summer dress...oh wait! However, this last chance workout (since that's what it is being called) was amazing. We started with 3 small laps, then went into the items I listed about and in between each exercise we ran a big lap). In the beginning when Lauren said something about doing at least 5 laps, I knew that was my goal. If I could hit 5 laps I was good to go. Well when I hit 5 laps and we still had 7 minutes left I wanted to make it to 6. So we jogged in, did 15 superman push ups, then hit lap 6 and did walking lunges on the way in! Finished off with the 25 jumping squats and I thought I was going to die! Amazing work out, but hard a heck.

Hitting up Wednesday morning class to finish off the 6 week boot camp!

Measurements, testing results and pics to follow Thursday night!
